Tip 1: Download only one file at a time. Doing two or more seems to have a high probability of being terminated, prematurely (S#!7).

Tip 2: Download on the weekend, especially Sunday morning. Speeds appear to be way better with no terminated connections generally experienced between Australia and the overseas download server.

Tip 3: Use your favourite download manager application.

This is a free download, but it does require you to login with your ‘SAP Community Account’.

Pre-requisite: Completed ‘Search for Installable MiniSAP Developer Edition’ task.

For each of the Eleven (11) Files

1. Click the ‘Download’ link in the far-right column of the row.
   
2. Ensure the ‘Accept SAP Terms of Use’ option is ticked.
   Click the  [Submit] button.
   
3. Click the [Start Your Trial] button.
   
4. [First File Only] Ensure ‘Acknowledge SAP’s Privacy Statement’ option is ticked.
   Click the [Accept] button.
   
5. Save the compressed installable (RAR) file in the ‘~/Downloads/MiniSAP/ABAP7524/’ folder on your personal computer.
   
6. Wait patiently for the download time will depend upon your internet connection.
   Tip: I’ve had some of the 1.45GB files take only a ~6 minutes while at other times the 1.45GB file takes more than an hour.
7. Question: Do you have all eleven (11) files yet?
   
   No – Not Yet: Go back to step 1 and continue down the list, ensuring you eventually download all eleven (11) compressed installable (RAR) files.
   Yes – I’ve got all 11: Congratulations, keep going.
